Bul-Dak Recipe

Made using chicken breasts, soy sauce, sugar, green onions, rice wine, jalapenos, Chinese mustard, pear, honey, chilli flakes, corn syrup, garlic and sesame seeds, this is a perfect appetizer recipe to get your party started.

Step 1
To prepare this snack recipe, rinse the chicken breasts in cold water and cut into bite-size pieces. Take a bowl and mix chicken together with soy sauce, sugar, honey, rice wine and ground pepper. Marinate it for 30 minutes by placing it in the fridge.

Take a blender jar and add chilli flakes, jalapenos, pear, onion, garlic, soya sauce, Chinese mustard, sesame oil, 1 tablespoon sugar and honey. Blend all the ingredients to make a thick paste. Once done, set it aside for later use.

On a non-stick frying pan, cook marinated chicken over medium heat until chicken is cooked and is moist from inside. Once done, take out the chicken pieces and leave excess marinade in the frying pan. Take a large bowl, thoroughly mix the fried chicken pieces with the blended sauce. In the same frying pan, add virgin olive oil and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on medium-high heat. Once done, transfer it in a bowl. Garnish with roasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion stalk to enjoy!
