  • Step 1 Blend fresh green peas and combine with gram flour

    Blend fresh green peas. Combine green peas paste, gram flour, red chilli powder, salt, baking powder green chilli and ginger paste. Mix well using your hands till it becomes fluffy. Keep aside for a few minutes.

  • Step 2 Grease the bowl and preheat the steamer

    Take a bowl and grease it with some oil. Put it inside the steamer and turn the fame on.

  • Step 3 Cover, steam and also prepare teh sugar syrup.

    Cover the steamer and let it steam for 15 minutes at least. Do not forget to keep checking in between and once it is done, transfer to a plate. Meanwhile, heat some water in a pan and add sugar to it. Once the water reduces and the sugar dissolves, keep it aside to cool. This sugar syrup will be later used for the dhokla.

  • Step 4 Ready to serve

    For tempering: Heat oil in a pan. Add curry leaves, 1 dry red chilli, hing and mustard seeds. Saute it for a few minutes and pour it on the dhokla along with the sugar syrup. Your Green Peas Dhokla is ready to serve.
