Step 1 Marinate the fish for an hour
To cook this amazing recipe, take a mixing bowl and add ginger and garlic paste, lemon juice, red chilli powder and salt. Mix these ingredients together and put the fish in the bowl to marinate for not more than an hour.

Step 2 Prepare the tempering and gravy
Preheat oil in a pan on a medium heat and add chopped onions, garlic, ginger and green chili. Stir them well. Then add bay leaves, turmeric, red chilly powder, a little bit of water and all the other ground spices. Mix all these ingredients in a generously. Add curd and chopped tomatoes to the mixture and let the gravy cook on a medium to light flame until you observe a rich fragrance.

Step 3 Assemble the gravy and fish, and enjoy
After the gravy is cooked, pour in some water to lighten the consistency. Lastly, add marinated fish to the gravy and let it cook for some more time. Garnish resplendently with fresh green coriander leaves and you are ready to serve the delicious recipe.
