Paneer Laddoo is a Jain recipe made using paneer, milk, milk powder, sugar and ghee. Those who are fasting can prepare this easy recipe and eat it in breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients:

For Garnishing :

  • 10 pistachios
  • silver vark as required

For The Main Dish :

  • 1/4 cup milk powder

Recipe :

  • Step 1

    Put a pan over medium flame and melt ghee in it. Once the ghee is melted and hot enough, add paneer along with sugar in the pan, and cook for a while.

  • Step 2

    Keep stirring from time to time to prevent the cottage cheese or paneer from sticking to the bottom. Meanwhile, mix the milk powder and milk in a separate bowl.

  • Step 3

    Pour this milky mixture in the paneer mixture. Stir well and when it stops sticking to the sides of the pan, add the saffron strands along with cardamom powder and mix well. This should take about 2-5 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Now, switch off the burner and put the pan down. Allow the content to cool on it's own and make small laddoos with the mixture.

  • Step 5

    Garnish with sliced pistachios and silver vark and serve at once. Enjoy these yummy paneer laddoos.
