Monohara Recipe
Monohara is a traditional Bengali dish which originally comes from a small town Janai in Hoogly. Made with basic ingredients like paneer, khoya and sugar, this simple dish tastes absolutely divine. It carries a fragrance of cardamom and is garnished with almonds for the added crunch.

Step 1 Cook paneer with khoya
Heat a non stick pan and directly add paneer in it. Cook for just a minute on low flame and add khoya.

Step 2 Mix sugar
Cook for 3-4 minutes, mix cardamom powder and sugar in it. Cook for another few minutes. Once everything is mixed well, transfer to a plate. Let it cool down a bit.

Step 3 Make laddoos
Now grease your hands and make small balls from the mixture. Press one almond on each laddoo and your dish is ready.
