Step 1 Cut the paneer and prepare the marinade
Before making the marinade, cut the paneer into a medium-sized square shape and keep them aside. Then, take a big bowl and combine hung curd along with all the spices and mix well.

Step 2 Marinate the paneer
Now, coat the paneer pieces with the hung curd and spice mixture properly. You can also use your hands to coat the mixture evenly over the paneer. Let the paneer marinate inside the fridge for about an hour, so that the paneer absorbs all the spices properly.

Step 3 Cook the paneer using the grilling method
Now, cook the paneer in charcoal grills, barbeque grill or preheated oven (150 degrees Celsius) for about 5-10 mins. Let the paneer roast in the flavourful marinade from all the sides. Arrange the cooked paneer on a serving plate and serve it hot. You can garnish it with some onions, coriander leaves and serve with mint chutney.
Tips:

If you don't have a grill or an oven, you can also roast your paneer pieces on a tawa after arranging them in skewers.

Add 1 tbsp saffron milk mixture to the marinade to get a richer flavor in your tikkas.
