Step 1 Saute garlic and cherry tomatoes
To prepare this yummy pasta, first, you need to make the sauce. For the same, put a pan over medium flame and add olive oil in it. When its warm, put crushed garlic cloves and let it infuse with the oil for about 10 minutes and then add the halved cherry tomatoes. And let cook till they become tender on low flame.

Step 2 Saute basil with tomatoes and then add boiling water
Next, add roughly torn few basil leaves in the cherry tomatoes. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add red chilli flakes and salt in it.

Step 3 Boil the spaghetti
In the meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to boil. Then, add salt to it and when boiling, add spaghetti pasta in it and cook as per the packet instructions about 10-12 minutes. When done, keep aside.

Step 4 Mix spaghetti with tomato sauce
When done, add spaghetti to the sauce and toss together nicely if it looks dry add a ladle full of pasta water or drizzle olive oil. I prefer a drizzle of olive oil just on the plate while serving if required.

Step 5 Garnish with parmesan cheese and serve hot
Now, plate the spaghetti sprinkle grated parmesan cheese, basil leaves and serve.
