Capsicum Zunka is a famous Maharashtrian Subji (dry curry) that is basically prepared with dry roasted besan (Chick pea flour) and tossed with other dry spices.
It is very flavorsome and is very apt to pack for lunch boxes as it goes well with both rice and chapatis.
It takes very little time and spices to prepare this very quick, absolutely mouthwatering and flavorful side dish with capsicum as its one vegetable that is most loved by all at home.
Ingredients:
- 2 Pieces Of Capsicum
- More than 2tp Spoon Of Gram Flour
- 2tp Spoon Oil
- 1/2tp Spoon Cumin Seeds
- 1/2tp Spoon Asafoetida Powder
- 1tp Spoon Carom Seeds
- 1/2tp Spoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2tp Spoon Red Chilli Powder
- 1tp Spoon Coriander-Cumin Seeds Powder
- Salt (As per Test)
- 1tp Spoon Suger Powder
- Coriander Leaves (For Garnishing)
સામગ્રી:
- 2 નંગ કેપ્સિકમ
- 2 ચમચી થી વધુ ચણાનોલોટ
- 2 ચમચી તેલ
- 1/2 ચમચી જીરું
- 1/2 ચમચી હીંગ
- 1 ચમચી અજમો
- 1/2 ચમચી હળદર
- 1/2 ચમચી લાલ મરચું પાવડર
- 1 ચમચી ધાણા-જીરું પાવડર
- મીઠું (સ્વાદ અનુસાર)
- 1 ચમચી દળેલી ખાંડ
- કોથમીર (સુશોભન માટે)
Notes:
- firstly, make sure to roast the besan on low flame to prevent it from burning.
- also, add besan as required to make the curry slightly dry or sticky.
- additionally, capsicum needs to be crunchy and not soggy in this sabzi.
