Ingredients:

  • 200gram Gram Flour (Besan)

  • Salt ( As Per Test)

  • 1tp Spoon Black Peper Powder

  • 1tp Spoon Carom Seeds

  • 1/2tp Spoon Asafoetida powder

  • 1/2tp Spoon Turmeric

  • 2tp Spoon Oil

  • 1/4tp Spoon Cooking Soda

  • Water ( As Per Needed)

  • Oil ( For Fry)

સામગ્રી: 

  • 200 ગ્રામ ચણાનો લોટ

  • મીઠું (સ્વાદ અનુસાર)

  • 1 ચમચી બ્લેક પેપર પાવડર

  • 1 ચમચી અજમો

  • 1/2 ચમચી હીંગ પાવડર

  • 1/2 ચમચી હળદર

  • 2 ચમચી તેલ

  • 1/4 ચમચી રસોઈ સોડા

  • પાણી (જરૂર મુજબ)

  • તેલ (તળવા માટે)

Serve fafda warm or at room temperature with some fried green chilies, raw papaya sambaro, and besan chutney. You can also serve with Gujarati besan kadhi.

Notes:

  • Firstly, knead the besan dough really smooth and soft.

  • Also, make sure to rest the dough for at least 30 minutes, else the fafda won't turn crispy.

  • finally, Gujarati fafda can be stored in an airtight container for a week and served as required.
