Gujarati Snack Palak Thepla Gujarati Style Gujarati Dish:

Palak ka paratha is an unleavened Indian flatbread made with spinach and whole wheat flour. A no onion no garlic recipe.

The paratha is one type of unleavened Indian flatbread in which different stuffings are added. Depending on the stuffing added, the paratha gets its name.

Spinach paratha is another excellent variation of paratha where you can include some healthy greens in the paratha. It is especially good for children who are usually not fond of spinach.

Parathas are a typical breakfast dish in North India, especially in Punjabi families. In Punjab, they use a lot of ghee to fry the parathas till they are browned very well and serve them with white butter or curd or pickle.

Ingredients:

  • Almost 2 Cup of Wheat Flour
  • 3tp Spoon Black Millet Flour
  • 2tp Spoon Gram Flour
  • 1tp Spoon Ginger Garlic And Green Chilli Pest
  • 1/2tp Spoon Asafoetida
  • 1/2tp Spoon Turmeric
  • 1tp Spoon Coriander - Cumin Seeds Powder
  • 2tp Spoon Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt (As Per Test)
  • 1/2tp Spoon Carom seeds 
  • 2tp Spoon Sesame seeds
  • 200 Gram Spinach Leaves
  • 1Cup of Coriander Leaves
  • 2tp Spoon Oil
  • Water (As Per Needed)
  • Oil (For Fry)

સામગ્રી:

  • લગભગ 2 કપ જેટલો ઘઉંનો લોટ
  • 3 ચમચી બાજરીનો લોટ
  • 2 ચમચી ગ્રામ લોટ
  • 1 ચમચી આદુ લસણ અને લીલા મરચાંની પેસ્ટ
  • 1/2 ચમચી હીંગ
  • 1/2 ચમચી હળદર
  • 1 ચમચી ધાણા - જીરું પાવડર
  • 2 ચમચી લાલ મરચું પાવડર
  • મીઠું (સ્વાદ અનુસાર)
  • 1/2 ચમચી અજમો
  • 2 ચમચી તલ
  • 200 ગ્રામ પાલક 
  • 1 કપ કોથમીર
  • 2 ચમચી તેલ
  • પાણી (જરૂરી મુજબ)
  • તેલ (શેકવા માટે)

You can have them during any time of the day but usually, they are made for breakfast and also made for short journeys or for kids' lunchboxes. Serve This Thepla with Yogurt or Tomato Ketchup Or Green Chutney.
