Step 1 Cook chickpeas and chop the other ingredients
To prepare this pasta recipe, cook chickpeas in a pressure cooker over medium flame. Once cooked remove from heat and keep aside. Meanwhile, chop the garlic cloves and parsley leaves. Also, roast and chop the unsalted almonds. Keep aside until needed further.

Step 2 Cook vegetable broth with garlic and pepper
Now, heat the oil in a pan kept on medium flame. Add to it garlic cloves with the vegetable broth. Cook for a minute or two and add red pepper and salt. Bring the mix to boil.

Step 3 Add pasta and chickpeas
Add the pasta in the pan and let it cook for 10-15 minutes until all the vegetable broth is absorbed. Keep stirring occasionally. Once done, add in the chickpeas and parsley.

Step 4 Top with almonds and cheese and serve
Top with almonds and grated parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
