- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Step 1 Soak and peel the almonds
To prepare this delicious burfee, soak the almonds overnight in water.

Step 2 Grind them into a smooth paste
In the morning, take those almonds out, peel the skin and grind them to a fine paste. Use milk for better consistency.

Step 3 Cook the almond burfee
Then, put a deep-bottomed pan on medium flame and add some ghee. Then add the almond paste along with powdered sugar and cook till the mixture turns browns. Saute the mixture in between so that it doesn't stick to the bottom.

Step 4 Your almond burfee
Grease a big plate and spread the mixture over it and refrigerate. When done, cut into squares and serve.
