Vermicelli Kheer Recipe
Vermicelli kheer, also called Seviyaan kheer is a delicious dessert from North India. Made using vermicelli, milk, sugar, and dry fruits, this dessert is quite simple to make and turns out to be extremely delicious.

Step 1 Roast vermicelli
Heat one tablespoon of ghee, add vermicelli and roast for a few minutes on medium-high flame. Once the vermicelli turns golden-brown, your seviyaan are roasted.

Step 2 Add milk
Now add milk and mix well. Let it simmer on medium flame till the milk boils. Keep stirring in between.

Step 3 Add sugar
Once the milk boils, add sugar and mix. Let the seviyaan cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes.

Step 4 Add dry fruits
Now add crushed almonds, cashews and raisins. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Cook for 10-12 minutes more or until the milk thickens.

Step 5 Garnish and serve
Garnish with dried rose petals and serve hot or warm as per taste.
