  • Step 1

    Wash apple, peel it and cut into cubes. Heat kadhai on medium flame. Add 1/2 tsp oil. When the oil is hot add mustard seeds, 1 bay leaf and 1 dry red chilly. Saute it for a few minutes. Add chopped apples. Fry it for 3 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Add red chilly powder, roasted cumin powder, salt and cardamom powder, jaggery. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook for 4 minutes or till apple becomes tender.

  • Step 3

    Take off the lid and mash the apple mixture. Add chopped raisins. Mix well.

  • Step 4

    Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with remaining raisins and serve.
