Step 1 Saute the whole spices and onion
Heat oil in a large pan. Add cloves, bay leaves, cardamom and saute for a minute. Now add the chopped onions and saute till golden brown.

Step 2 Add ginger, garlic, chillies and tomato
Now add the paste of garlic, ginger, tomato, dry red chillies and green chillies. Mix well. Cook till the tomatoes turn mushy and leave the oil on the side.

Step 3 Add the dry masalas
Now add all the dry masala listed above and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Step 4 Add chicken
Once the masala is prepared, add the chicken pieces. Mix well and cook on high flame for a few minutes. Now add methi seeds and lower the flame to medium. Cover with lid and cook till the chicken is perfectly cooked.

Step 5 Add fresh cream
Lastly, add fresh cream and mix well. Let it simmer for a few more minutes.

Step 6 Garnish and serve
