Do you also get excited when you see the waiter taking a hot, sizzling, fragrant plate towards someone’s table? The excitement doubles when we see it coming to our table! Sizzlers were hugely popular in Japan and then they travelled all the way to America and reached France in World War 2.

Step 1 Soak the rice and marinate the chicken
To begin, wash and soak the rice in water for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the chicken breast into two pieces and pound it lightly until a little flatter and marinate with lemon juice, black pepper, red chilli powder, salt for at least 30 minutes.

Step 2 Cook the rice and saute the veggies
While the chicken gets marinated, cook the rice. Add 1 1/2 cups of water for 1/2 cup rice and let them boil for 10 minutes. On the other hand, take a pan and add some oil into it. Saute the garlic and then add thickly diced bell peppers and capsicum. Charr them on a high flame and add the salt and pepper.

Step 3 Cook the chicken
Now take the marinated chicken and add it to hot oil in a pan. Let it cook thoroughly on all sides for about 5 -10 minutes on medium-low flame. Meanwhile, add 1 tbsp of oil in another pan and cook the garlic in it and add the onions to it. Assemble everything on a hot platter and serve!
