Step 2
Now, in a large bowl, add vermicelli and generously layer with melted butter. Grease a baking dish and layer 1/3rd of the vermicelli on the bottom of the dish. Take a large bowl and mix together 125 grams of ricotta cheese, 1/2 tablespoon of milk and 1 teaspoon rose water. Now, over the vermicelli base, add a layer of cheese-rose water mixture. Over this mix, spread another 1/3rd of butter-coated vermicelli.

Step 3
In another bowl, mix together the 1/2 of the almonds and pistachios, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of allspice. Sprinkle ¾ of this nut mix over the vermicelli. Next, layer and press the last 1/3 of the vermicelli on top. Place this layered baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until it turns golden.

Step 4
Once done, take it out of the oven. Sprinkle remaining lemon juice all over the dish and let it cool. Transfer it to a flat plate and drizzle the remaining nut mix over the top. Your Kunafeh is ready to be served. Enjoy!
