Fada Lapsi Gujarati Sweet Recipe  | How to make Fada Lapsi in Gujarati

A traditional and classic dessert recipe made from wheat grain and jaggery. the recipe hails from the popular Gujarati cuisine, but also extremely popular in Rajasthan and Maharashtra. it is typically served as a dessert at the end of the meal, but not limited to and can be served as a snack or welcome sweet to guests.

Ingredients: 

  • 1Cup of Broken Wheat
  • 1/4 Cup of Chopped Jaggery
  • 1/2 Cup of Ghee
  • 3 Cup of Water
  • 1tp Spoon Raisins
  • 1tp Spoon Aniseed
  • 1tp Spoon Crushed Dry Coconut 
  • 2 to 3 Pieces of Almonds
  • 2 to 3 Pieces of Cashew

સામગ્રી:

  • 1 કપ ઘઉંના ફાડા
  • 1/4 કપ  ગોળ( છીણેલો ) 
  • 1/૨ કપ ઘી
  • 3 કપ પાણી
  • 1 ચમચી કિસમિસ
  • 1 ચમચી વરિયાળી
  • 1 ચમચી સૂકા નાળિયેરની છીણ
  •  2 થી 3 ટુકડા બદામ
  •  2 થી 3 ટુકડા કાજુના

Broken wheat is nothing but whole raw wheat grains cleaned and then processed coarsely. As it doesn’t undergo refining it's very healthy.
