Step 1 Heat the water in a kadhai
Place a kadhai on medium heat. Add water and let it heat. Now add powdered jaggery and mix.

Step 2 Let the jaggery melt
Now mix well and let the jaggery melt. Once completely melted, let it cook until the mixture attains a thick and syrupy consistency.

Step 3 Add the roasted chana
Now add the roasted chana to the kadhai. Make sure the outer skin of the chana is removed.

Step 4 Mix well
Mix well to ensure the chana is coated well in the jaggery mixture. Cook on high heat for a few minutes and then take out the chana on a plate. Separate the chana from one another and spread them on a plate or tray.

Step 5 Let them cool down
