Recipe :

  • Step 1

    Firstly, take the whole chicken and wash it thoroughly under cold running water and keep it aside. Now, peel the ginger-garlic and chop it evenly. Also, melt the butter in the microwave.

  • Step 2

    Now, take a grinder and add cumin seeds, black pepper, cilantro, chopped ginger, garlic and cinnamon stick to make it a fine powder. Now, add oil to make a smooth paste of the mixture.

    Then, rub the mixture all over the chicken, season with salt and keep it aside to marination for about 40 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Then, sprinkle some lime juice over the chicken just 30 minutes before cooking. Add some more salt and melted butter onto the chicken.

  • Step 5

    Now, keep the chicken in a preheated oven, set the temperature at 350°F and roast it for one hour and 20 minutes. Garnish the chicken with wedges of lime and serve hot!
