Step 1 Make a jaggery syrup
To prepare these delicious Badam Laddoos, dry roast the chopped almonds in a pan over medium-high flame and keep them aside. Add jaggery in another pan of hot water and dissolve it. Bring it to a boil. After few minutes, strain and simmer the mixture until it starts to thicken.

Step 2 Add ghee and almonds
Add ghee, cardamom powder, raisins and almonds. Stir the ingredients well and remove from the flame. Allow the ladoo mixture to cool down.

Step 3 Laddu are ready
Take portions from the mixture and quickly roll them into small balls using your hands. Place the laddoos on a plate to cool. You can also store these laddoos in a clean jar for later consumption.

You can add some grated coconut to make the laddoos more delicious.

To make the laddoos more enticing you can add some saffron strands.

If the jaggery syrup is too runny, you can add soem more jaggery to make it thick.
