Badam Halwa Recipe

Badam Halwa Recipe
Ingredients:
- 300 gm blanched & peeled almonds
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
For Garnishing :
- 1 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
- 8 strand saffron
For The Main Dish :
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1 cup milk

Step 1 Peel the soaked almonds and grind
To prepare this mouth-watering dessert recipe, soak almonds overnight, then blanch and peel the almonds in a grinder jar and grind almonds in it. Then add 2 teaspoons of milk in the jar in order to make a thick paste.

Step 2 Add ghee and cook the almond paste
Take a deep bottomed pan and keep it on medium flame, you can also use a kadhai instead of a deep-bottomed pan. Now, melt ghee in the pan and add the almond paste to it. Stir well and cook the almond paste until golden brown in colour.

Step 3 Garnish and relish!
Stir in the remaining milk along with sugar in the pan and cook for about 10 minutes. Afterwards, remove the pan from the flame and sprinkle cardamom powder along with saffron on it. (Optional: If you have silver varq, you can garnish the halwa with it.) Serve hot!
Tips :

To make the dish more delicious, you can dry roast the almonds and then grind them.

To make the halwa creamy, add some cashews.

You can also add some dry fruits to make the halwa more rich.
