  • Step 1 Roast dalia

    Heat one teaspoon of ghee in a pan. Add dalia and roast them for 2-3 minutes until aromatic.

  • Step 2 Saute jeera

    Now heat one teaspoon of ghee in a cooker, add jeera and let them splutter for a minute. Add hing, ginger paste and stir a bit.

  • Step 3 Add tomatoes

    Now add tomatoes and mix well. Cook till the tomatoes turn mushy.

  • Step 4 Add the rest of the ingredients

    Now add peas, carrots, turmeric and salt to the cooker. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

  • Step 5 Add soaked moong dal

    Lastly, add soaked moong dal and water. Mix well and pressure cook for 3 whistles.

  • Step 6 Serve!
