Sautéed Frozen Kale Recipe

Sautéed Frozen Kale Recipe
Ingredients:
- 400 gm chicken broth
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoon virgin olive oil
- 2 1/2 handfuls chopped frozen kale
- 1 chopped red bell pepper
- 1 pinch salt

Step 1
To prepare this easy recipe, wash kale and red bell pepper in running water and keep aside. Cut the bell pepper in 1-inch wedges and put aside until required. Then, put a deep-bottomed pan on medium flame and add chicken broth in it and bring it to rolling boil. Then, add washed kale in the pan and let it simmer until kale looks like a wetland or marsh. Return to rolling boil and then cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes. Afterwards, take off the lid and cook kale and chicken broth for about 3 minutes. Pour the extra broth into a coffee cup and turn off the burner and set aside.

Then, put a frying pan over medium flame and hear olive oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add chopped garlic in it and saute for a minute. Then, add the chopped bell pepper in the pan along with salt and saute for another minute. Add in spoonfuls of kale and chicken broth in the pan and mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let the mixture cook for another 5 minutes on low to medium flame. (Optional: Add more garlic for better flavour and you can add more oil, if the mixture sticks to bottom.)
