Quinoa Muffins Recipe
While most of us have tried several recipes with the recently introduced grain quinoa, you would not have come across a Quinoa Muffin recipe. This recipe has been exclusively created by Ms Uma Dawra, who is a Times Food Blogger and culinary enthusiast.

Step 1 Sieve all the dry ingredients
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Sieve all the dry ingredients - quinoa flour, rice flour, baking soda & baking powder twice and keep aside. Next, take a muffins tray and grease well using oil.

Step 2 Mix all the liquid ingredients with sesame seeds
Now, take a mixing bowl and add orange juice, refined oil, powdered sugar, sesame seeds and orange zest into it. If you do not have orange zest, you can use orange marmalade. The orange will not only give it a refreshing taste, but also a lovely colour. Whisk all the ingredients thoroughly.

Step 3 Prepare the muffins batter
Put all the dry ingredients in the wet one and using cut & fold method, mix well. Once the batter is done, keep aside. Ensure that no lumps are formed.

Step 4 Bake the muffins at 180 degrees C for 20-25 minutes
Put this in a greased muffin dish and bake at 180 degrees C in a pre-heated oven for 20-25 minutes. Insert a skewer and check. If it comes out clean, your muffins are ready. Enjoy with a cup of hot coffee and do share your feedback in the comments section below.
