  • Step 1 Roast the pork

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Rub oil on pork shoulder. Take a small bowl and mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Sprinkle seasoning on the pork. Place fatty side up in a roasting pan. Roast it uncovered in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes. then, reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and cook for 1 hour.

  • Step 2 Place vegetables around the meat and cook

    Remove pork roast from oven and place onion chunks, carrots and potatoes around the meat. Pour apple juice on vegetables and season with salt and pepper. Place rosemary sprig on top, and cook for additional one and a half hours until vegetables are tender. Serve hot.
