To make this recipe, take a chopping board and chop the onions and coriander leaves, separately. Now, place a pan over medium flame and heat ghee. Add green cardamom, red chilli, cloves, bay leaves and cumin seeds. Stir them for 1 minute.

When they starts crackling, add chopped onion and fry until it becomes translucent. Finally, add ginger-garlic paste and stir until the moisture evaporates.

Next, add curd, chicken, red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala powder, salt and the required amount of water. Mix them well, cover it with a lid and cook until the chicken becomes tender.

Once the chicken is cooked, sprinkle black pepper powder and stir them well. Turn off the flame and transfer it to a serving dish. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with phulka or roomali roti. Enjoy!
