  • Step 1

    Mix wheat flour, salt and oil in a bowl. If required add a little bit of water. Make sure the dough is hard enough.

  • Step 2

    Cover it and keep aside for at least 1 hour.

  • Step 3

    Now in a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and add besan in it. Cook on medium flame.

  • Step 4

    Now add kasuri methi, red chilli powder and dry mango powder to this mixture. Don't overcook it.

  • Step 5

    Your masala is ready for the stuffing.

  • Step 6

    Now take small balls from the wheat dough and stuff some of this stuffing in it. Roll it to flatten it out properly.

  • Step 7

    Repeat the process with the rest of the dough. Make sure the rotis are thin enough.

  • Step 8

    Now cook the rotis on a non stick tawa by drizzling a few drops of oil on it.

  • Step 9

    Once golden brown from both sides, your kachori khakra is ready.

  • Step 10

    You can either savour it with chutney or pickle.
