Gujarati Khandvi Recipe
Khandvi, a popular Gujarati snack is a tempting snack which is not only light but also super tasty. This dish is really easy to make and doesn't add much to your calories. Be it kitty parties or birthdays, people of all ages relish this snack alike. A tempering of curry leaves and mustard seeds add to the flavour and aroma.

Ingredients:
For Tempering :
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 stalks curry leaves

Step 1
In a bowl mix besan, dahi, water and make a batter.

Now, add all spices in it like ginger paste, green chili, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.

Now pour the batter in a steel bowl or flat vessel. Place the cooker on gas fill the cooker with water so that half of your steel vessel dips in it.

Now place the bowl in the cooker, close the lid and cook for 3 to 4 whistles.

Now grease a plate with some oil. Take some batter and spread a thin layer on the plate. Let it cool down for 5-10 minutes.

Garnish with coriander, cut into rectangular pieces and roll into khandvis. Repeat the process with the rest of the mixture.

For the tempering, add a tbsp of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Let it crackle for a minute.

Pour the tempering on the khandvis and serve.
