Ingredients:

  • 2 cauliflower
  • 2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • salt as required
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 4 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cup peas
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon powdered turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

For Garnishing :

  • 2 handfuls coriander leaves

Recipe :

  • Step 1

    To prepare this main dish recipe, start by cutting the cauliflower florets and chopping the coriander leaves on a chopping board. Now, place a pan over medium flame and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add mustard seeds in it. Allow the seeds to splutter and then, add turmeric powder and red chili power and stir firmly. Keep stirring and then ginger paste, garlic paste along with cumin powder to it. Mix it well until the mixture turns aromatic.

    Cook for a couple of minutes and then add coriander powder and peas in it. Mix it well and cover the pan. Let it cook on medium flame or until all the ingredients mix together. Now, add cauliflower florets and half of the chopped coriander leaves. Mix it properly and make sure that the cauliflower is evenly coated with the spices. Reduce the flame and cover it with a lid.

    Cook on low heat until the peas and cauliflower softens. Make sure that you stir it after every 5 mins. Once cooked, sprinkle garam masala and saute it one last time. When the mixture turns aromatic, transfer it in a bowl and serve it hot with cooked rice or parathas to enjoy!
