  • Step 1 Prepare the base of the cake

    To prepare this delicious treat let's work on the base first. Add almonds in a food processor and blend to a fine powder. Soak the dates for 2 hours then drain. Add these soaked dates to the food processor along with the rest of the ingredients for the base i.e. cacao and coconut. Blend all the ingredients together.

  • Step 2 Set the base in the cake tin

    Once done, transfer it to a cake tin and press this base mix in an even layer. Just make sure that you do not press it on the sides.

  • Step 3 Prepare the filling for the cake

    Now, for the filling, drain the dates and cashews and blend them in the food processor. After that, add cashews, coconut oil, vanilla extract and shredded coconut in the food processor and blend it together.

  • Step 4 Pour the filling on the base and refrigerate for at least 4 hours

    Once done, pour this mix on the top of the set base in the same cake tin. Refrigerate the delicious mix for at least 4 hours before cutting and serving.

Tips :

  • Garnish the cake with dark chocolate syrup and grated coconut.

  • You can also top the cake with oven-roasted cashews.
