To prepare this lip-smacking dish, first, prepare the marinara sauce. For the sauce blanch the tomatoes and peel them. Once done, chop the peeled tomatoes along with plum tomatoes.

  • Step 2 Prepare the marinara sauce

Now, heat oil in a pan over medium flame. When the oil heats add 50 grams chopped onions, 4 cloves garlic and a portion of chilli flakes. Saute the mix for a minute. Now add the chopped tomatoes and season with salt, pepper and a portion of basil. Transfer in a dish and keep aside. The marinara sauce is ready to be used.

  • Step 3 Prepare the meatball stuffing

To start with the meatballs, take a bowl and add in it minced mutton with chopped leeks, chopped onions, chopped celery, basil, garlic clove, chilli flakes, chopped carrots, chopped thyme, rosemary, egg, bread crumbs and black pepper with salt. Mix all the ingredients very well to prepare the filling of the meatballs.

  • Step 4 Add the meatballs in boiling water and strain when done
