Step 1
In a bowl add butter, sugar, vanilla essence and egg. Mix all the ingredients properly.

Now sieve the wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and a pinch of salt in the bowl. Mix properly to see there are no lumps.

Grease butter and dust flour in the cake tin. Pour the cake mixture and spread evenly.

Preheat oven at 180 degree C for 10 minutes. Now bake the cake at 180 degree C for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, the cake is ready to be served. You can decorate or garnish with the toppings of your choice.
