Step 1 Fry neem flowers
Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a frying pan, add neem flowers and fry until golden brown.

Step 2 Soak tamarind
Now soak tamarind in one cup of water. Later squeeze out the pulp, strain and collect the tamarind juice.

Step 3 Prepare the rasam
Next, put a pan on heat, add tamarind juice, jaggery, rasam powder, tomato and salt in it. Add one cup of water and let the rasam cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.

Step 4 Add neem flowers
After 10-12 minutes, turn off the heat, add neem flowers and mix well.

Step 5 Prepare the tempering
Heat 1 tbsp ghee, add mustard seeds, dry red chilli, curry leaves and asafoetida. When they crackle, add the tempering to the rasam.

Step 6 Serve hot
Your hot rasam is ready to be served.
