    To prepare this delicious chutney recipe, soak the green grams or the moong bean for an hour in water.

  • Step 2

    When the dal is soaked, add it in a blender jar along with red chillies, asafoetida, salt, and cumin seeds and blend the ingredients to a fine paste.

  • Step 3

    When the paste is ready, transfer it to a bowl and squeeze lemon juice in it. Stir well so that the lemon juice is mixed in the paste. Serve with hot rice.
