Pineapple Bun Recipe
Pineapple Bun is a Chinese recipe, which can be relished with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Step 1 Prepare the dough
Start by pre-heating the oven at a temperature of 176 degree Celsius. In a large bowl mix heavy cream, milk, eggs, sugar, cake flour, bread flour, yeast, salt all together. Once the dough is ready. Knead it and keep it aside and cover with a cling film at room temperature for sometime.

Step 2 Shape the dough balls in the form of buns
Flatten this dough onto a flat floured surface and cut into small slices. Convert each slice into circular buns and place on a greased baking sheet. Cover it with a kitchen cloth and keep aside for a while. Meanwhile, add milk powder to a separate bowl along with all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder and sugar. Mix well and then add vegetable shortening to it along with milk and vanilla extract. Again mix all the ingredients well and coat the buns.

Step 3 Bake the buns and relish!
On a flat surface place the circular buns on top and brush with honey. Place this on the greased baking sheet and then into the baking tray. Now, slide this tray into the pre-heated oven and bake for minimum 15 minutes. Your pineapple buns are now ready. Serve them warm.
