Paneer Sizzler Recipe In Chilli Garlic Sauce With Rice is a filling dish apt to be served as party food. This recipe has pan-fried paneer cubes along with roasted vegetables and a spicy sauce that is rich in garlic- tomato flavor. Adding rice to the sizzler makes this dish a complete meal by itself. Adding loads of seasonal vegetables makes this a wholesome and nutritious dish. You can also substitute Paneer with tofu if you like.

  • Step 1 Roast the vegetables

           Heat a pan and roast paneer till it is golden brown. Remove from pan and keep aside. Then, add cauliflower, onion, carrots, green beans, salt, and pepper and saute them for a few minutes on high flame. Then add tomato and corn and saute till all vegetables are done. They should not be overcooked and still be crunchy.

  • Step 2 Prepare the chili garlic sauce

           Place a pan over low heat, add garlic and saute until it is light brown. Add chopped vegetables like onion, carrot, green beans, green chili, and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add tomato puree, sugar, salt and cook for another 3-4 minutes over low heat. In a small bowl, make a mixture of cornflour and 2 tbsp water. Add this mixture to the pan and when the sauce thickens, turn off the flame, garnish with spring onions.

  • Step 3 Assemble the sizzler

            Heat the sizzler pan and grease it with butter. Line the pan with cabbage leaves while it heats over low heat. Arrange paneer and roasted vegetables. Then, pour the chili garlic sauce over it and switch off the stove. Add melted butter to the sides of the pan. Serve the sizzler. You can also make rice with it.
