Palak Paneer Recipe ( Restaurant Style) | How to make palak paneer

Palak Paneer is one of the most popular paneer dishes. Paneer (Indian cottage cheese) is cooked with spinach and spices in this creamy and flavorful curry. It pairs well with naan, paratha, or jeera rice. It was such a great way to sneak in the greens. They wouldn’t touch spinach otherwise but if there was paneer with it, they would happily gulp down bowls of it.

Palak Paneer is such a staple in north India. It’s one of the most commonly made paneer dishes in Indian homes.

Ingredients: 

  • 400gram Palak
  • 1Bowl Chilled Water
  • The gravy of 4 Tomato
  • 3tp Spoon Oil
  • 1tp Spoon Ginger Garlic And Chilli Pest
  • Salt (As per Test)
  • 1/2tp Spoon Turmeric
  • Red Chilli Powder (As per Test)
  • 1/2tp Spoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2tp Spoon asafoetida
  • 1tp Spoon  Coriander - Cumin Seeds Powder
  • 100gram Paneer
  • Fresh Malai ( For Garnishing)

સામગ્રી:

  • 400 ગ્રામ પલક
  • 1 બાઉલ મરચી પાણી
  • 4 ટામેટા ની ગ્રેવી
  • 3tp ચમચી તેલ
  • 1tp ચમચી આદુ ,લસણ અને મરચાની પેસ્ટ
  • મીઠું (સ્વાદ અનુસાર)
  • 1/2tp ચમચી હળદર
  • લાલ મરચું પાવડર (સ્વાદ અનુસાર)
  • 1/2tp ચમચી ગરમ મસાલા
  • 1/2tp ચમચી હીંગ
  • 1ચમચી ધાણાજીરું પાવડર
  • 100 ગ્રામ પનીર
  • તાજી મલાઈ (સુશોભન માટે)

The spinach is blanched and then pureed. It’s then cooked with spices and simmered on low heat with paneer.

Tip:

Use fresh tender spinach leaves. Remove the stems from the leaves if they are dense or stringy. Tender stems can be added. You can also use frozen spinach instead of fresh spinach.
