  • Step 1 Saute the onions

    Heat oil in a non-stick pan over moderate flame and add cumin seeds and dried red chillis. Once the cumin seeds turn slightly golden in colour, add onions. Saute the onions till golden brown in colour.

  • Step 2 Add spices & beans

    Now add turmeric powder, green chillies, dry mango powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Stir the ingredients for few seconds and then immediately add washed beans. Season the beans with salt. Next, add water and cover the lid for 10-15 minutes or until softened (cook for less time if you like crunchy beans).

  • Step 3 Cook & serve your green beans ki sabji!

    Once done, transfer the sabzi in a serving bowl. This delicious beans sabzi is usually eaten with wholewheat chapatis and is very tasty and healthy. Serve your green beans ki sabji with hot rotis or even parathas.

Tips :

  • You can also add boiled potatoes to this beans curry recipe.
