Steamed Tingmo Hotdog Recipe
Have you ever heard of the word Tingmo? If not, then you are surely missing onto some spice and taste in your life. A Tingmo is a steamed bread in Tibetan cuisine and has a resemblance to Chinese flower rolls. Here is a Tibetan dish which has a different taste, and is something that will make your forget even your favourite momos.

Step 1 Knead a dough and roll to make a tingmo
To prepare this delicious dish, take a large mixing bowl and add all purpose flour, sugar, water, yeast, refined oil, bakingsoda and salt. Mix everything to make a dough. Let the dough rest for an hour. Once the dough has started to rise, pull out small portions from it and roll them into long ropes in the form of a hot-dog bread. Let them rest for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 2 Steam the tingmo for 15 to 20 minutes
In the meanwhile, prepare the steamer. After the steamer is ready, steam the hot-dog bread (tingmo) for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 3 In a pan make the bacon crispy and sear the sausage
While the tingmo is being steamed, start to make a crispy bacon. Take a cool non stick pan and lay the bacon strips on it. Start cooking bacon over a low flame and pour refined oil slowly and carefully. Cook the bacon until it turns crispy, and take it off the pan. Now in the same fat from the bacon, start searing the chicken sausage as well.

Step 4 Assemble tingmo with all the ingredients
Once the tingmo is steamed and ready, put it together with chicken sausage, crispy bacon, lettuce, red cabbage, hoisin sauce and mayonnaise. You are ready to enjoy your favourite delight.
