Rava Fried Fish Recipe
Rava Fried Fish is a Goan recipe but is enjoyed throughout the length and breadth of India. It is prepared with fish fillets, semolina or rava, lemon, and spices.

Step 1 Prepare the marinade
To prepare this exotic dish, firstly, add turmeric, red chilli powder, ginger, garlic, tamarind paste and salt in a bowl. Mix the ingredients well and transfer the mix in a mixer. Grind to obtain a coarse paste. Add little water while grinding.

Step 2 Marinate the fish
Now, on the fish fillets apply little cuts at multiple places and spread the prepared spice mix on the fish. Apply the marinate well on both sides evenly.

Step 3 Coat with semolina
Next, take the rava/semolina in a bowl or a plate and coat the marinated fish with it. Keep the coated fish aside for 30 minutes.

Step 4 Fry the fish and serve
Now, heat oil in a pan over medium flame. Add the marinated fish in the pan once the oil heats. Shallow fry the fish until golden brown on both the sides. Once done, remove on an absorbent paper and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot!
