Step 1 Soak the kala chana and pressure cook next day
To prepare this enticing recipe, first soak the kala chana overnight. Then pressure cook it with about 3 cups of water till it is well cooked and keep it aside.

Step 2 Grind coconut, and grind dal into smooth paste
Meanwhile, scrap the coconut pieces and grind them using a mixer. Check if the boiled dal has cooled down, then grind it into a smooth paste.

Step 3 Cook coconut powder and dal paste
In the next step, take a deep pan and pour the dal paste into it along with the powdered coconut and sugar. Start cooking over slow flame. Once the consistency of the mixture starts thickening, add the cardamom powder and ghee to it. Stir it well till it turns non-sticky.

Step 4 Allow mixture to set, then serve
In the next step, grease a tray and spread the mixture uniformly on it and allow it to set. After that, cut it into desired shape and serve.
