Paneer Gulab Jamun Recipe
Paneer Gulab Jamun is a very easy sweet that can be made easily at home. So made up my mind to try this paneer Jamun as paneer is an easily available ingredient. This is not like our usual Jamun, it takes time to absorb sugar syrup……Also the jamuns are chewy unlike our regular jams more like rasgulla texture but nevertheless tastes delicious. After all, it's paneer and sugar….How can the combination go wrong?! But I will sure post milk powder and khoya Jamun versions soon. Paneer is an easily available ingredient so thought to give this easy sweet a try and And here is my easy version of gulab jamun – yes paneer Jamun it is!!
Ingredients:

250 gm paneer

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup sugar

refined oil as required

2 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Recipe:

Step 1 Mash the paneer
Add paneer to a bowl, mash it till it is smooth. Add flour, a pinch of salt, baking powder, and 1 tbsp sugar. Mix well.

Step 2 Make small balls
Knead into a dough and make small balls from it. Once done, keep aside.

Step 3 Heat oil and fry
Now heat oil in a kadhai and fry the balls, until golden brown.

Step 4 Prepare sugar syrup
Side by side, prepare sugar syrup by boiling 2 cups of water in one cup of sugar. Once it attains a two-string consistency, switch it off. Drop the fried balls in it and let them soak the syrup for 2-3 hours.

Step 5 Serve
You can garnish with nuts if needed. Serve warm.
