Paneer Bhurji Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200 gm paneer
- 2 medium finely chopped tomato
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 3 pinches coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 2 medium finely chopped onion
- 2 medium finely chopped capsicum ( green pepper)
- 2 teaspoon sunflower oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 2 pinch powdered turmeric
- 4 pinch salt

Step 1 Crumble the paneer & saute the cumin seeds
Undeniably, Paneer Bhurji is one of the easiest things to prepare, when you don’t feel like putting in much efforts to prepare an elaborate meal. Here’s how you can prepare this easy dish. Take a bowl and crumble the paneer. Keep it aside. Then heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium flame. Once the oil is sufficiently hot, add the cumin seeds and fry them for 20 seconds.

Step 2 Fry the onions in spices
Once the cumin seeds start to crackle, add the onions and saute them for a minute. Wait for the onions to turn slightly brown in colour. Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and stir well. Saute these ingredients for another minute.

Step 3 Add tomatoes, capsicum & crumbled paneer
Then, add tomatoes and a pinch of salt. Stir well and cook for a minute. Now add capsicums and saute for one more minute. Capsicum adds a nice flavour to the entire dish. Add the crumbled paneer and mix well. Cook for a minute or two. Turn off the flame and transfer the Paneer Bhurji in a serving bowl.

Step 4 Garnish with lemon juice & coriander leaves
Squeeze lemon juice over the paneer recipe and stir well. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with toasted bread slices and tea or coffee. You can also enjoy this paneer recipe as an evening tea-time snack.

Try using homemade paneer for this recipe. If you are using store-bought, soak it in water warm water for 15-20 minutes.
