Ingredients:

  • 2 radish
  • 1 cup radish leaves

For The Main Dish :

  • Step 1

    Wash radish and it's leaves. Use only the fresh and green leaves, do not use the leaves which are yellow in colour.

  • Step 2

    Peel and chop the radish into very small pieces and then chop the root and leaves along with the steams.

  • Step 3

    Boil the radish and it’s leaves for 4-5 minutes. Then drain and squeeze the water from the boiled vegetable and keep it aside for a while.

  • Step 4

    Heat oil in a pan, and add cumin seeds, cloves, thymol seeds. When it starts popping, add asafoetida and stir for few minutes but do not burn them.

  • Step 5

    Then add radish and its leaves along with salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder, coriander seeds and stir them well. Let them cook for 3-4 minutes so that the raw taste goes away.

  • Step 6

    Then serve it with parathas or chapatis.
