Step 1 Combine buttermilk, red chili powder, turmeric and salt
To start preparing this amazingly delicious recipe, combine together buttermilk, red chili powder, turmeric and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir well until incorporated. Keep this mixture aside. (Tip: if you do not have buttermilk at home, you can prepare it easily my mixing a cup of curd with 2 cups of water and stirring them well.)

Step 2 Prepare the tempering and pour buttermilk mixture
Heat 2 tablespoons of refined oil in a deep bottomed pan and after the oil heats up, add mustard seeds to it. Once they start to pop, add curry leaves, green chili, red chili powder and chopped garlic to the pan. Cook for half a minute and then pour the buttermilk mixture (Step 1) and boil the so formed gravy for some more time on a medium flame.

Step 3 Add torn chapati bits and enjoy
Tear the chapatis into small bits and add them into the gravy in the deep bottomed pan. Again bring to boil the entire amalgamation on a medium to light flame for 5 to 6 minutes until the chapati pieces soften and the gravy thickens. Remove from heat and garnish beautifully with fresh green chopped coriander leaves. You are all set to enjoy this delicious delicacy.
