Chicken Chapli Kebab Recipe
Chicken Chapli Kebab, also famously known as Peshawari Kebab is a popular Mughlai dish. It is a mouth-watering and oh so incredible recipe, which is best enjoyed with Tawa Naan. This is also interestingly the chicken version of the famous kebabs which is said to have originated from Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Step 1 Mix the ingredients
Mix all the ingredients (chicken keema, beaten egg yolks, chopped onion, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, red chilli powder, chopped green chillies, chopped fresh coriander leaves, salt and fresh black pepper crushed) together very well in a bowl.

Step 2 Shape the kebabs
Transfer it in an airtight container and rest it for 2 hrs in a refrigerator. After that, take it out and make equal sized kebabs using your hands.

Step 3 Fry and serve
Griddle them two or three at a time on a hot Tawa with 1 tbsp oil. Cook until they look golden from the underside. Keep the flame on medium heat. Flip them and cook the other side. Repeat the same process for cooking all the prepared kebabs. Serve hot with seasoned curd or green chutney along with sliced onions.

Finely minced chicken works best for making chapli kebabs. The finer the mince, the better.

Squeezing lemon juice over freshly made chapli kebabs before serving really brings out its flavours.
