Free Online Tools is a growing collection of small, focused utilities for everyday tasks — formatting JSON, converting colors, generating passwords and QR codes, counting words, calculating percentages, and dozens more. Every tool is designed to do one job well and load instantly.

Privacy first, by design

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you paste text into a tool, nothing leaves your device — there is no server that receives your data, because the work happens locally on your own machine. That means your input stays private, the tools are fast (no network round-trips), and many of them keep working even if you lose your connection after the page loads.

Free, with no catch

There is no sign-up, no account, no paywall and no watermark. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising placed below the tools, never in your way. You can use every tool as much as you like, for personal or commercial projects.

How it is built

The site is a lightweight Laravel application with a Tailwind CSS interface and small, dependency-free JavaScript components (powered by Alpine.js). Tools that need extra capability — like YAML parsing or code beautifying — use well-established open-source libraries, self-hosted and loaded only on the pages that need them. Nothing is tracked beyond standard, aggregate analytics.
