  • Step 1

    To begin with, take a bowl and put half of the cashews in it with a little amount of water. Now, add asafeotida, salt and red chili powder. Mix well and then add 1 tbsp gram flour. Toss the ingredients well to coat.

  • Step 2

    Take another bowl and put the remaining cashews in it with a little amount of water and coat with gram flour. Meanwhile, heat oil in a non-stick pan on medium flame and add curry leaves. Fry them until lightly colored.

  • Step 3

    To the pan, add the cashews tossed in spices and flour and half fry them. Now, add the contents of second bowl containing cashews in it.

  • Step 4

    Pan fry the contents for a few minutes. When done, remove from fame and dip in sugar syrup. Mix well and serve it warm.
