Steamed Squid and Prawns Recipe

Steamed Squid and Prawns Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500 gm squid
- 1 medium carrot
- 3 pieces spring onions
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 50 gm roasted peanuts
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- water as required
- 12 medium prawns
- 300 gm cabbage Chinese
- 50 gm snow peas
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 red chilli

Step 1
Chop the carrots, cabbage, de seeded red chilli, coriander leaves, cherry tomatoes and roasted peanuts and slice the spring onions and snow peas in a bowl. Now take a separate bowl, slice the squids into thick pieces, peel the prawns and devein them. Combine the shredded Chinese cabbage, sliced onions and peas, chopped coriander leaves and cherry tomatoes together in a bowl.

Add all the ingredients to a pan along with rice vinegar, caster sugar and chopped red chilies to prepare the sauce. Add about ¼ cup water and cook it on a low flame for about 10 minutes until it forms a paste. Remove the paste from the pan. Cook the thickly sliced squid and prawns together in batches on a double steamer for about 2 minutes.

Take a bowl, add water and place it on a medium flame. Add chopped carrot in it and boil it until it turns soft. Drain the excess water. Combine the cooked squid, prawns and carrot in a vegetable bowl and toss well into the sweet chili sauce. Serve hot, with your main dish, enjoy!
